Poker Zion Review
PokerZion is the ultimate poker training site to improve your game!
Established by John Anhalt, an expert high stakes poker pro, PokerZion has been created to provide the ultimate poker training to players who wish to improve their game. John believes that understanding a player's psychology and their playing abilities, one can help them improve in their own way, making them realize their potential and work on it to improve their skills. He feels that an instructor cannot impose his own abilities and playing strategies on the learner, as this could only deter the person due to a lack of understanding of the strategies. It is therefore feasible to tackle the persons in a way that they are taught keeping them in their own comfort zone, so that they find it easier to understand what is being taught and how they should tackle a situation in a profitable way.
This great attitude towards teaching is what makes PokerZion different from the other poker training schools. Since there are no hard and fast rules to playing winning poker or any set strategy that will lead to a winning situation, it is important that poker be understood in its entirety. However, this does not come to saying that the strategies used are insignificant. You cannot proceed in a hand without applying a strategy, but manipulating the strategy to work in your favour is what is of importance. These are the very trivialities that are emphasized upon at PokerZion. Apart from this each member at PokerZion is offered a personal mentor who will guide them individually through what is called their Iron Lion training program. The training program addresses the requirements of the player thereby improving their playing abilities.
Pokerzion - More then just Poker Videos!
PokerZion boasts of providing an extensive training program that depends not only on videos lessons, but also from a personal grooming of the player's capabilities that will help develop his or her skills when playing at the table. They promise to deliver the maximum success rates, irrespective of the targeted stake limits. First the skills of the members are accessed through a questionnaire followed by a training format and via live game play where they will be watched to see how they apply their theories to practice, so that an analysis of their lesson absorption can be made. This will help to know how much the member has been able to learn and understand. Through this teaching medium and the individual attention that you get from your mentors, it is obvious that the students are very soon certain to show improvements in their game play.
Videos include those on No Limit Holdem, Tournaments, Sit and Go, Mentoring videos, video learning and video training. Cash games covered include No Limit Holdem 6-Max, Heads Up and Full Ring games and No Limit Holdem 6-Max games. PokerZion offers some crucial MTT videos that include lessons on playing high stake tournaments, Sunday Millions and the EPT qualifiers. There are a fewer number of Sit and Go tournament videos, but what are available are of high quality, which about makes up for the small number. The list of mentors at PokerZion includes John Anhalt himself apart from Andrew Boccia, Tyler Netter, Russel Blattberg and Andreas Johansson. Apart from video and non video trainings, members can interact with their mentors, watch them play and participate in open workshops for a better understanding of the game.
